AMANDA GRAY

​

Amanda is an accredited Arts Psychotherapist with the registered body, ACA. Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts Psychotherapy and Theatre Arts. Amanda's experience includes working with children through the education and welfare systems. When working with young people Amanda uses a strength based approach. A strength based approach empowers and focuses on connections with one's self and the others in one's life.

With a client led holistic approach, Amanda works  with the individual to create an alliance. With contemporary intervention and art therapy, Amanda uses a variety of art supplies to express and discover the strengths and challenges the client/s are experiencing. Amanda has had success in working with groups of children and individuals in a face to face environment using art therapy to express, process and discover. Amanda has used creative arts psychotherapy via an online experience to help many adults facing loss of self identity, depression and anxiety.

ELIZA MEALEY

​

Eliza is an accredited Arts Psychotherapist with the registered body, ACA. She has a Bachelor of Arts Psychotherapy from Ikon Institute Australia. Eliza's background in theatre and her understanding of the power of using creative methods to dive deeper into our subconscious, led her to pursue a career in arts Psychotherapy. Eliza works in a holistic way, guiding clients towards their strengths. She has experience working with adults who face life challenges, young children and adolescents who have social, emotional and behavioural issues. Eliza is trauma informed as a therapist, and also works as a counsellor. Eliza believes that emotional agility  and strength is a natural outcome of therapy. Eliza believes that we all need to discover our great bits, so we can lean on to them when the water gets rough and to recognise when  joy arrives.

At A & E Creative Psychotherapy we are accredited Art Psychotherapists with a background in expressive arts. 

We work with a client led, holistic approach, using cognitive behaviour therapies (CBT) motivational Interviewing (MI), counselling and psychotherapy techniques.

We work with children, adolescents, adults and groups.
